Elmina B. Sewall Foundation is seeking a Community Engagement Consultant

Elmina B. Sewall Foundation is seeking a Community Engagement Consultant to support the next phase of its Healthy People Healthy Places work in Lewiston-Auburn.

The project has three components: supporting the formation of a Planning Team of Sewall staff and L-A community members; designing and facilitating a collaborative process for the Planning Team to identify community priorities and recommend goals, strategies and approaches; and drafting a summary report of the Team’s findings that will guide the bulk of Sewall’s work in L-A for an initial five-year period, beginning in 2021.

Key qualifications include effective, equity-informed and trauma-informed facilitation skills and the ability to work with a group that is racially and culturally diverse and representative of a wide range of stakeholders.

We’re working on a tight timeline – application deadline is March 6 – and we’re hoping to find the right match with an individual or group that can take on this six-month engagement, from late April through late October.
