Directions

The offices of the Elmina B. Sewall Foundation are located in the Cabot Mill/Fort Andross complex in downtown Brunswick.

Traveling from the South:

Take I-295 N towards Falmouth/Freeport. Take Exit 28 (formerly Exit 22) for Brunswick/Coastal Route 1/Bath. At the 3rd traffic light, go straight onto Pleasant Street towards downtown Brunswick and stay to the left. At the T-intersection, turn LEFT onto Maine Street/Hwy 24/201 towards Topsham. Proceed through the Brunswick downtown area until you see the brick Cabot Mill & Fort Andross complex ahead. It will be on your left just before the bridge over the Androscoggin River. Get into the left lane and turn LEFT onto Cabot Street.

Traveling from the North:

From I-95 and I-295:
Note: Gardner Exit I-95 is now I-295. From I-295, take Exit 31 A&B (formerly Exit 24A) to Topsham/Brunswick. The exit will make a long, round turn – stay to the right. Bear Right to Hwy. 196 to Topsham. (You will go by the Topsham Fair Mall on the right.) Turn RIGHT onto Hwy. 196 towards the Topsham municipal area and Brunswick. You will go through several stop lights. At the major 4-way intersection, turn RIGHT onto Hwy 24/201 towards Brunswick. Go down the hill, past the Bowdoin Mill complex on your left and proceed across the bridge over the Androscoggin River. You will see the brick Cabot Mill & Fort Andross complex on your right on the other side of the river. Turn RIGHT onto Cabot Street.

From Route 1 southbound:
If you are heading southbound via Route 1 during the summer months, please do anticipate seasonal tourist traffic and allow yourself more time for travel. After the Brunswick/Cooks Corner exit, stay in the right lane and get off the exit towards I-95/295 and Topsham. Get into the right lane and turn RIGHT towards Hwy 24. Take an immediate RIGHT, proceed straight ahead until the stoplight and turn LEFT onto Main St. Go down the hill, past the Bowdoin Mill complex on your left and proceed across the bridge over the Androscoggin River. You will see the brick Cabot Mill & Fort Andross complex on your right on the other side of the river. Turn RIGHT onto Cabot Street.

Once on Cabot Street:

Find available parking in the lots on either side of the street in front of the building complex, noting that there is all-day public parking, mostly along the railing in the lot on the left side of Cabot Street. Please observe and respect tenant parking on weekdays between 8:00am to 5:00pm. Enter the tall tower building through the large double wooden doors under the “Fort Andross” sign. Once in the building lobby, take the elevator to the 3rd floor. The Foundation office is down the hall to your left in Suite 308.
